Programs

GCS uses a holistic approach in working with clients. Our Basic Life Skills Training Program, Adult Education Services, Support Groups, Health & Wellness Education as well as Employment Readiness Training are all geared to teach, nurture, empower, and enable our clients to build on the strengths they already have.

We touch not only the person’s physical needs but we also offer spiritual counseling and support as foundations for wholeness and self-sufficiency.

The variety of programs offered called “Continuum of Care,” is intended to develop coping skills through support groups, counseling and case management; build job skills, educate, and raise health and substance abuse awareness.

To-date, Global Center for Success has served more than 3,000 unduplicated clients by providing over 20,000 units of service to the most vulnerable members of our community.

Vallejo People’s Garden

The Vallejo People’s Garden exists due to collaboration of the Global Center for Success, the USDA Forest Service and many different individual volunteers from the community. GCS is excited to start a garden right in its backyard to serve as an outdoor classroom, a community hub, and a source of free organic produce for its clients and the needy.

GCS is committed to and supports the goals of VPG to:

  • Promote health, wellness and pride in our Vallejo community
  • Grow fresh fruits and vegetables for those who are most in need
  • Improve the human environment by taking care of water, soil, and wildlife
  • Create educational opportunities for children and adults
  • Enable social and cultural connections
  • Encourage volunteerism and collaboration between agencies and the community.
